Soft Spot | Matte Art Print

Soft Spot is a botanical photography wall art print that moves in close to the trunk of a pochote tree, where dense clusters of conical thorns surround a dark opening in its green bark. Hard points, living green surface and earthy gray-brown tones transform the tree trunk into a strange, almost otherworldly landscape.

Part botanical wall art, part abstract nature photography, this square art print turns the pochote tree’s formidable natural defenses into sculptural pattern and texture. Its contrast between sharp thorns, organic bark and the vulnerable-looking hollow at the center gives Soft Spot a tactile quality suited to modern, earthy, eclectic and nature-inspired interiors.
